Since its establishment in 1996, the Umer Bin Khattab Welfare Trust has been committed not only to education but also to uplifting society through social welfare and healthcare initiatives. The Trust focuses on healthcare, poverty relief, women’s empowerment, community development, and promoting harmony among people.

Healthcare & Medical Services
Established a 60-bed hospital in Kunjkheda providing 24/7 healthcare to underserved communities.
Opened additional hospitals in surrounding villages such as Takli Rajerai (Khuldabad, Aurangabad).
Organized medical camps:
- Eye Care Camp (1998) in Kannad – first of its kind in the area.
- General Health Camp (1999) – over 10,000 people benefited.
- Regular Blood Donation Camps in collaboration with Marathwada Blood Bank, Aurangabad.
Women's Empowerment & Livelihood
Empowering women through skill development and economic independence
Introduced vocational training programs for women (sewing, embroidery, mehndi, computer classes).
Provided free sewing machines to more than 400 women after course completion, enabling them to earn independently.
Community Development & Basic Facilities
Water Supply Projects – Installed borewells in water-scarce villages to ensure access to clean water.
Transportation Support – Launched bus services from Kannad to Kunjkheda to help students and villagers commute easily.
Infrastructure Support – Constructed school buildings and classrooms for institutions in Nagapur, Shendurni, and other villages.
Relief & Charity
Distribution of clothes, slippers, and food to poor families and school children, especially during festivals.
Annual Iftar gatherings organized to promote national integration and communal harmony among people of different faiths.
Providing blankets, ration kits, and essential supplies to underprivileged families during emergencies.
Awareness & Social Campaigns
Through the active participation of college students, the Trust runs awareness programs in surrounding villages:
- Health & Hygiene Awareness campaigns.
- HIV/AIDS Prevention programs.
- Tree Plantation Drives for environmental conservation.
- Science Exhibitions to encourage curiosity and learning.
- Cultural Programs & Vocational Guidance for children and youth.
